US LBM's Professional Builders Supply Teams Up with Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County for a Day of Fun and Giving
Professional Builders Supply recently partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County (BGC) for a day of giving and celebration, which included a facility tour, a snow cone party, and a $10,000 donation to support BGC's programs.
At Professional Builders Supply, US LBM's division serving builders in North and South Carolina, giving back to the community is more than just a value—it’s a way of life. That’s why the team was thrilled to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County (BGC) for a day filled with fun, connection, and meaningful impact!
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County play an essential role in the community, operating eight clubs that serve around 4,000 kids. Their mission is to help young people reach their full potential. Through afterschool programs and summer camps, BGC provides a safe, supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and just be themselves. The focus on academic success, healthy living, and character-building aligns perfectly with PBS's commitment to community service.
Earlier this month, PBS welcomed the BGC team to their Morrisville location for a day to remember. The event kicked off with a $10,000 check presentation, but the excitement didn’t stop there. PBS gave the BGC staff and enthusiastic club members a behind-the-scenes tour of their facilities, followed by a snow cone party that brought smiles all around. Gage, one of the club members, summed up the experience by saying it was “the best day of his life” and proudly declared that he would “never take off his PBS hardhat.”
